In order to keep up with each other, me and my group mates put together a messenger group chat and thus started deciding what each person should do. This helped a lot because now we are able to go out and film individually if not together and get the exact shots we have planed and need.

Production Schedule
Filming Dates
Deadline: Thursday 15 December
This chart shows our schedule on the different filming dates we have planned on. The dates vary as they are each aimed at weekends rather than week days due to the time it would take to get to places and to film without having to rush. We may plan to use extra days to get through enough shots for our short film.

Film Festival Postcard Drafts
These postcard drafts are examples of what we plan our original idea to be like. Each one of the group members including myself have drawn an example of what we thought would be eye catching towards our audience and what would make them want to watch our short film. Of course we have made it so that it is relevant to our film basing it on the country we are filming in and the subjects we are focusing on. E.g. cars and the streets, especially the traffic lights etc.

Website Homepage Drafts
Above is a digital template of the image shown on the right which has been hand drawn by my fellow team mate Jack Murphy. This template shows a prime example of how we have planned to present our website for our documentary short film.
This image on the left shows a template of the 'About' page which gives detail on who we are, what the show film is based on and which member did what. The image shown on the right is the final clickable link page 'contact'. This page gives each members details incase of any inquiries. There is also the link to our short film linked on it, as well as the press kit link. Below everything we will add the links to our social media pages.

Social Media Research
Due to a couple of social media websites being popular, like Facebook, Snapchat, Youtube, Instagram and twitter, we have greater chance of getting viewers such as stunt drivers. With these people using the mentioned applications, they can either post their own videos or images and get more viewers from the rest of their community. Therefore, if our group do the same, it can give us a chance to get the same amount of viewers or even have a brief idea of what they think by them commenting their thoughts or even what they think of our information being given out about how driving in such ways may be deadly to these individuals.
We are hoping to use social media as a way to spread our message to the public and mostly the younger age range to stop them from risking their lives even though they think its all fun and games. By using actual stunt drivers we were hoping that the audience will understand what they have been through and would take driving safely a lot more seriously and prevent any fatal accidents in the future.Film Festival Research
Film Festivals are usually organised, extended version of films in a number of screening venues. All these screenings are mostly based in one city or region. The films being shown are ones of recent dates or include international and domestic releases. Various Film Festivals focus on specific Film-Makers or even Genre or even a Subject Matter. A number of Film Festivals specialise in short films of an exact maximum length. These Film Festivals usually occur annually rather than regularly.

The best Film Festivals as shown above are the Cannes, Tribeca and Sundance Film Festivals. Although, the best knows Film Festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the Latter being the largest Film Festival worldwide, based on attendance. Also, the Venice Film Festival is the oldest major Festival.

ASHRAF EMAD MOHAMMED ALI

Location Planning
The locations shown below are the ones we had picked to film in and use for our short film documentary. At these current locations we are going to get shots of cars drifting, or doing any sorts of stunts possible. We will make sure to get great quality shots, to provide our future viewers with various pans, tilts and every vantage points to make it appealing to our target audience.
With these images we know where and how to start our filming process with the different example shots given to us. We will manage to get various shots that we will decide on using as our introduction shot, then we will plan on getting different shots of moving cars which we will plan on using with all the stats we will collect.
We had picked sealine as or major focus as it is known as Dohas graveyard for young drivers due to their reckless driving on the dunes. Whether they are on dune buggies or in cars, they will always have their ways on showing off to other drivers around the area.
As for Lusail, DUI drivers of all ages come together at specific times in order to race or drift in their mustang shelby's, or to do various stunts using their 4 Wheel drives which are shown in the images. The stunts are possible with the help of the balloon tyres used on these type of cars.

Car Crash Recording
One of my group mates, Jack Murphy, was roaming around the city and managed to spot a bentley that had been in a horrific car accident near the Qatar Gold Club. He had managed to take a few images before he was told to leave the site by the authorities. These images are to be included in our documentary as part of the statistics.

Audience Profile
According to several interviews and a mass online survey/questionnaire, there is a specific demographic interested in or advocating against stunt driving. Since this phenomenon is especially prevalent to Qatar, the demographic can be narrowed down to the GCC population - still a quite vague and large demographic, therefore more insight is needed. In 2010, 226 people were killed in Qatar as a result of stunt driving - 66.5% of them aged somewhere between 18-39, in other words young to middle-aged members of the GCC, often male; 96.5% of stunt driving victims are male. This creates a much more specific target audience. Of course, one other important factor is class. Since stunt driving often requires expensive vehicles (usually large 4x4 wheelers with plenty of room) and equipment, especially since this is common amongst the younger population, a high amount of income has face validity, in regards to the target audience. So overall, this indicates a mostly male young-to-middle-age upper class demographic in the GCC.
This has been discussed with the whole group and have all included same detail.
Audience Research: Questionnaire
From viewing our results on the questionnaire above, we gathered that a lot of people utmost enjoy watching or contributing to stunt driving, like going on 2 wheels, drifting etc. They had also stated that driving recklessly can have both its ups and downs rather than just saying its good or bad.
The results said that our short film should be insist more of the plot instead of the interviews or editing and whatnot. In the space of 24 hours, we had at least 70 responses and these were all from both sixth formers and teachers in attempt to attain results of different age ranges.
Since we had sent out a questionnaire to all staff and a lot of the students, we were able to get a variety of results throughout the questionnaire. For the question above we got a mixture of answers from everyone who had received the questionnaire. The majority of the responders are 15-17 years old.
When the question 'Do you drive?' was asked, More than have of the responders answered with no. Meaning that the younger ones respect the law and don't drive illegally. This is helpful as we can encourage them to stay safe as they get older.
With this question being answered we are now able to achieve the perfect short film. The audience have told us that they are more interested in the plot more than anything else meaning we can tell them enough information without them disagreeing with what we have offered them.
We came up with various title ideas and thought why not ask our audience for the best one. Hence we now have our final title.
We came up with various title ideas and thought why not ask our audience for the best one. Hence we now have our final title.
With these questions answered, we were able to focus our short film on the most voted for answers like how they want to see more action rather than interviews throughout, then how we can stop people from stunt driving in the future and so on.
